Live screen

Brooklyn designer Danielle Trofe has invented a self-irrigating planter system that does the watering for you!

Live screen is a vertical, modular and movable structure.Pod-like planters hang off of tapered poles that hide electric, gravity-driven watering pumps.

The pumps are also set on a timer that activates the water flow at intervals that coincide to the plants’ hydration needs, thus conserving water and energy.

Obviously, the system’s uniformity limits the diversity of plants you’re able grow; you could not, for instance, use it to raise both a cactus and an orchid.
Unfortunately , Live Screen isn’t in production yet. Though you may contact the designer for further information.
