Some people may view an empty olive tin as trash.

For Petra Schultz and Karin Yilmaz-Eggerempty olive tins was the inspiration to start “rafinesse & tristesse” in 2006.

From tins to toy cookers

to miniature sinks, bar stools

or even paper roll holders.

All items are handmade, unique and of course products of recycling. With loving attention to detail “rafinesse & tristesse” do transform everyday waste objects into artistic, playful and practical products that also benefit our environment. Very yiuco don’t you think?
