Yes, it is true. Yes, it is UP’s house. Yes, it is real and it reached an altitude of 10.000 feet, UP in the air, before it’s gently landing…

Everything started on March 5th, east of LA, when National Geographic Channel launched this real-life version of the UP balloon-lofted house from an air field to break the world record for the largest flight of balloons in a cluster.

The launch was filmed for a series on the National Geographic Channel called How Hard It Can Be?

What the did is to built a 16′ X 16′ house 18′ tall with 300 8′ colored weather balloons and let it go from a private airfield east of Los Angeles.
The experimental aircraft flew over an hour and  was the result of dedicated work by engineers, scientists, and two experienced balloon pilots.

Amazing, isn’t it!!!!!!!!
