The Atenistas team, an open civil group, took an empty plot in Pagrati, Athens, which had been left in complete abandonment and in a day time transformed it into a beautiful little park.
The site was cleaned, new plants were planted , the walls around stained and painted and formed benches, play areas and walkways with pallets and old tires .
In this effort apart of the atenistas, worked also local residents and artists who made street art on the walls.
The plants, the paints was given by companies and the materials used (pallets and tires) was given by the Recycling Department of Athens Municipality.
