The Wallflower vertical garden is a modular planter system that has been designed to enable city dwellers to grow their own organic vegetables and other plants on sunny walls.
The designer behind it is Haldane Martin.
Three sizes of wall mounted containers are nesting together and integrate an hexagonal trellising and a branching, drip irrigation system. The planters are made from recycled roto-moulded polyethylene plastic and the mounting hardware is made from galvanized and powder coated mild steel.
Haldane Martin will be revealing the first working prototypes of Wallflower vertical garden on Salon Privé at Design Indaba Expo 2011
